  • Cat With Orange Hat

All our breeding cats are DNA tested for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy), SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy), and PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease). We also perform annual cardiac ultrasounds to screen for HCM as it can develop later in life. Only cats that test clear or normal on all health screenings are used in our breeding program. We provide copies of all test results to adopting families.

  • Kitten Being Fed

Yes! Maine Coons are known for their gentle, patient temperament and are often called 'gentle giants.' They typically do very well with children when properly introduced and supervised. Our kittens are raised around children and exposed to various household activities. They also usually get along well with dogs and other cats. We carefully socialize all our kittens to prepare them for multi-pet households. Proper introductions and supervision are always recommended initially.

  • Sleeping Cat

Yes, but use a lot of caution if you do it yourself. You need to be careful not to cut into the Quick. This will result in serious bleeding. I recommend you let the vet do it. Along with cleaning their ears and sanitation trim.
